Stem cell studies are ongoing regarding ophthalmic conditions for various conditions at some institutions. We at the Hawaii Stem Cell Treatment Center do not carry out these studies.

Age related muscular degeneration, Diabetic retinopathy, Optic neuritis, as well as few other conditions. Stem cell treatments may soon be proven to effective in multiple eye diseases. We at the Hawaii Stem Cell Treatment Center do not offer protocols for studying the effects on these conditions which may show great promise. We offer standardized protocols with in our network which we have developed. Our protocols are all under an IRB (research study) and we do not have that approval for eye conditions.
